I think she pushes katchoos buttons the most out of everyone and while they are basically complete opposites,thats the thing that i like about them,they just fit together really well.

Hi Stasia, I'm not sure if you started this before you read the end of the series but I voted Francine, simply because Terry put them together in the end, so therefore, they belong together.  However, before I finished the series I probably would have picked Casey. But I would pick Casey for everybody's perfect partner. She's just the best! Prior the the final run I just read, I would have said Francine is just too much of a pain in the butt for Katchoo and she's hurt Katchoo way too often for her to deserve her. Katchoo deserved somebody who really loved her. That's why I secretly hoped the thing with her and David worked out. But you can't force yourself to love somebody when you just really REALLY like them a lot. It doesn't work that way. You can't force it. I'm glad they stayed really good friends though. And the way it ended, it seemed like they were all going to be a much better "family" anyhow, so I think that's the way it was meant to be. Just another example of a writer creating a family out of friends in a way I envy and wish I had in my life.
