For your sake, I hope the same carrier that attempted to deliver my Toby calendar isn't handling your order.

The box has arrived in Bruges but I wasn't home when the Postman ringed twice...
Tomorrow I can pick it up at my local post office if I pay 53 dollars or 36 euro custom taxes...
When it'll be in perfect condition I won't care how much I paid for it ! :D

Finally, ...it took a while to arrive....

Fingers crossed for a mint omnibus! :D

Looks like, as a Belgian, I was right to be afraid of how the omnibus would arrive at my doorstep... Poor Belgium

Terry wrote:The last three Omnibus orders sent to Belgium have been deliberately destroyed by customs agents in Belgium. The box had been opened, the slipcase torn apart to extract the books, the pages ripped from the spine of the books. When whatever they’re looking for was not found, the agents had the gall to cover the books with the slipcase pieces, drop the mess back into the shipping box with half the peanuts now gone, then complete the delivery. Sounds unbelievable, doesn’t it? Here’s what our last poor customer in Belgium found in their box…

If this was an isolated event, we would strike it up to vandalism. But the last three orders to Belgium have met this fate. As a result, we will no longer risk shipping the Omnibus to Belgium.

I feel sorry for Belgians who order stuff "overseas"; I'd think that is just the #1 way for Belgian customs to make themselves even more popular with people and companies.

Probably safer to get your stuff send by Fedex.
Safer but expensive... :?

Still...it's outrageous what happens at our customs...

I was like you when I was younger. Now I've found a way to have it both ways - sorta.
